As part of the construction to the new service yard for the HR2 rail system local housing projects in Bristol area required protecting from noise pollution.
J & G Contractors having recently completed the construction and installation of over 800 metres of Elite reflective noise barrier supplied by Top Security Fencing (UK) Ltd.
The vast majority of the fence being 5.2m and 4.2m high was on bolt down posts. This necessitated the installation of a large reinforced concrete strip foundation on which the CE rated posts were then bolted down.
Stringent specification needs in this construction ensured that the barrier would withstand a wind loading which may be encountered in this location.
